Ultimate Beginner's Guide
to Buying UCO and Farming

1. Go to Coinbase .
2. Sign up, verify your email, and complete the identity verification process (KYC).
3. Think of this as opening a bank account for cryptocurrency.

1. Link your bank account or credit card to Coinbase.
2. Deposit funds into your Coinbase account.

1. Search for “Ethereum” or “ETH” on Coinbase.
2. Enter the amount you want to buy and confirm the purchase.

1. Search for “Polygon” or “POL” on Coinbase.
2. Buy a small amount (around $5–$10 worth) to cover network fees later.

1. Go to Metamask and install the browser extension or mobile app.

1. Set a strong password and follow the instructions to get your seed phrase (12-24 words).

Important: Write down your seed phrase and store it safely. This is your backup to access the wallet. NEVER share your seed phase with anyone.

1. Open Metamask and click the Network Dropdown (at the top of the Metamask window).
2. Select Polygon from the list of networks. (You might have to click on Add Network).

1. On Coinbase, select “Withdraw” on your ETH balance and choose Polygon as the network.
2. Enter your Metamask wallet address (found by clicking your wallet name in Metamask).
   Example: 0x2e5c431CEca2a8Ac07FD3Df9ebA6722b70d349cD
3. Confirm the transaction.

1. Repeat the same process for POL (Polygon) to cover future transaction fees.
2. On Coinbase, select “Withdraw” on your POL balance and choose Polygon as the network.
3. Enter your Metamask wallet address (found by clicking your wallet name in Metamask).
   Example: 0x2e5c431CEca2a8Ac07FD3Df9ebA6722b70d349cD
4. Confirm the transaction.

Note: It can take a few minutes. Before Step 4, check your POL and ETH balance on your Metamask wallet.

1. Click Here: Download Archethic Hot Wallet .

1. Follow the setup instructions and back up your seed phrase securely (just like with Metamask).

Important: Write down your seed phrase and store it safely. This is your backup to access the wallet. NEVER share your seed phrase with anyone.

1. Official Archethic Bridge .

1. In the field from, select Polygon and connect Metamask.
2. In the field to, select Archethic and connect Archethic Wallet.

1. Select WETH (Wrapped Ether) as the token to bridge.

Note: WETH = ETH’s name on the Polygon Network.

2. Enter the amount of ETH you want to send to Archethic.
3. Click Bridge and confirm all prompts in Metamask and your Archethic Wallet.
4. Check that the aeETH (ETH’s name on the Archethic Blockchain).

Note: The process may take a few minutes. Once completed, your ETH will appear in your Archethic Wallet.

Disclaimer: Archethic takes in charge the transaction fee of the Archethic Blockchain but not the fees of the Polygon Blockchain.

1. Open the Archethic Exchange and connect your Archethic Wallet.

1. Select half of your aeETH balance to swap to UCO.
2. Confirm the swap in your Archethic Wallet.
3. Check that you received your UCO.

Note: Selecting half of your aeETH balance ensures you have an equal amount of aeETH and UCO, which is required to participate in the liquidity pool, as both assets must be provided in equal value.

Tip: Keep a small amount of UCO for future fees.

1. On the Archethic platform, go to the Earn page.

1. In the Add Liquidity section, click Add.
2. Provide equal amounts of UCO and aeETH to the liquidity pool.
3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
4. Check that you have your LP Token

1. On the same Earn page, find the Earn more UCO section and click Add.
2. Choose how long you want to lock your tokens (longer locks may have higher rewards).

1. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
2. Check that your LP Tokens are being farmed.
3. You’re now earning UCO rewards while supporting the ecosystem.

PS: If someone contacts you directly, it’s probably a scam.
